Our History
Jason Hale founded Hale Exterior and Remodeling in Waunakee, WI in 2020. Over the past 25 years, he helped build over 400 new houses for Wick Homes and several apartment buildings around the Madison area. His goal was to learn how to master home services and grow a loyal customer base. His initial full remodel was finished in 2017 on his own home. Once completed, he focused on growing his business through hiring other like-minded workers and subcontractors with the same drive and commitment to treating every project as if it were their own.
Our Process
From our initial conversation to the final product, we will keep you updated on the timeline and ensure we stay within your budget. The best way to understand your vision is to arrange an onsite visit and then provide an estimate that fits within your budget and collaborate on our recommendations.
Preconstruction Design
After our initial discussion, we determine the appropriate next steps, which could include an onsite visit with trade partners, or other research to refine the scope of the project for you. Your involvement in the design process helps us create the living space best suited for you and your family's needs. During this phase, we may also review details of the project and help you make selections.
Design & Construction Estimate
We provide you with a detailed contract, review the scheduling process, and what happens during the production phase. This helps inform the ballpark estimate based on your targeted budget, We strive for transparency so you know what to pay at each part of the project, from initial deposit to completion of the project.
Onsite Consultations
With a signed agreement and down payment, we will schedule a walk-through to review any and all changes for you to sign off on. Throughout the construction process, we will regularly update you on the progress. Any changes to the scope that result in a change in price are managed by change orders and approved by you before we proceed.
The Finishing
Touches
We love seeing you smile as you accompany us on the final walk through of your new space and examine our detailed craftsmanship. Once you’re satisfied after reviewing our work, we’ll send the final bill. When your payment is processed, you may begin to receive lien waivers from us or any trade partners.
